Photography Services

Photo sessions with your pets are conducted at my studio, your home or a selected location. My goal is to create a comfortable and secure environment in order to capture your Furry Baby's true essense. With that said, at the beginning of the session, I spend some time just playing with your pets so they will become familiar with me and allow them to exert any extra energy they might be experiencing. During the shoot, I like things to happen organically so it is important to let the photo session happen naturally. With this method, I am able to capture more natural movements and expressions. It helps to have Mom and/or Dad around to help handle dogs or kitties and sometimes coax them into sitting or staying. Remember, patience is the key to getting just the right images. And if you have a dog that is really high energy or a little on the scared side, I have techniques to overcome those issues. During the session, the pups get lots and lots of treat and have a fun time....They totally know what they are doing.

When it comes to cats, it is best to shoot them in their own environment unless they travel well. I just try to stay out of their way and shoot images without disturbing them. As a cat owner myself, I totally understand how cats operate.

So whether it is for business or pleasure, photo sessions are always a lot of fun. The dogs run us around and get lots of treats...they are in total control and they love it. There is nothing better than a pup or kitty discovering their inner supermodel....

So as not to discriminate against my fellow humans...of course, I photography people as well, be it with your pet, your family, individual portrait or professional headshots. Humans photoshoots can be done at the studio or on location. Location shoots utilize natural and available light to produce flattering editorial style images.

Fine Art Photography is another essential part of my work. Still life, Botanical, Pet Art and Wildlife are all part of this facet of my work. These images are available as stock photography and individually framed art pieces. Check the PRODUCTS page for some of my latest work.

I use the latest in professional digital photography equipment. This amazing technology produces images that rival that of film photography. Utilizing Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom, images can be transformed into stunning color, black & whites, sepia tone , desaturated (color toned) and/or color tinted photographs. In addition, photos can be transformed into pop art renditions so check out the RATES page for details on my POP ART graphic designs. With digital photography your photos can be viewed right after your session. I retouch and print every print that is ordered so your order is usually filled within 4 to 5 weeks depending on my workload and the size of your order. All your images in sizes up to 16X20 are personally edited and printed in my digital darkroom using the latest in Epson archival ink and paper. This printer produces amazing color and black & white images that rival any film processing. Larger images must be sent to the photo lab for digital processing. Hig end custom products such as Gallery Wrap canvases, Metal prints, note cards, return address labels, calendars and mousepads to name a few can also be ordered.
